Forged in the Richemont crucible

The Swiss Hockey Final4 2026 has its champions: RWW Women and … Men

Fans and spectators from near and far have rarely seen such exciting Final4 games as they did this weekend. The final games on Sunday, in particular, featured evenly matched teams who gave their all in the heat of Richemont until they dropped.

We don’t want to keep some of the highlights from you:

The defensive battle waged by 12 Lucerne players, two of whom were injured so badly during the game that they had to sit on the bench, leaving the team effectively shorthanded as they held on for a respectable 1-3 loss (with the occasional counterattack opportunity).

The rollercoaster of emotions during the shootout between HCO and Servette in the men’s tournament (third-place game)—a thriller couldn’t be any more exciting.

And the women’s teams from Servette and RWW delivered yet another nail-biter. With a risky move (11 field players, no goalie—4 minutes before the end), Servette fought their way to the equalizer.

Only to fall behind again just a few minutes later. A corner just seconds before the end would have allowed Servette to equalize… and it would have gone to a shootout here as well. But if only, would have…

The men’s grand final was also a closely contested match, but in the end, RWW came away with the victory.
