Successful coaching course by Swiss Hockey in Magglingen

On February 14, Swiss Hockey held a coaching course for all current junior coaches of the national and regional teams. The course took place in the impressive sports facility in Magglingen and offered a valuable opportunity for the coaches to network, exchange ideas and share knowledge about the current development path in Swiss hockey.

Swiss Hockey used this course to present for the first time the new development strategy for Swiss hockey players from the U14 level up to the national teams. The lively discussions between coaches and association structures contributed significantly to the further development of this strategy.

A detailed training plan that the coaches can implement in their respective regional teams led to lively discussions and a multitude of new ideas. The aim was to create a common basis so that all Swiss hockey players can develop similar skills and characteristics.

In addition, the coaches were confronted with various ethical scenarios in which they were challenged to find appropriate responses to different situations. This provided valuable insights to further ensure safety and fairness in the sport of hockey.

We would like to thank all the coaches who took the time to attend this course and to contribute actively and positively. Our goal is to establish this coaching course as an annual event so that we can continue to advance Swiss Hockey together.
