A pure summer of field hockey with our national teams – Watch, cheer and participate!

This summer, Swiss field hockey is on fire! Our men’s and women’s national teams are preparing intensively for the European Championships – with a full program of friendly matches, training camps and a field hockey clinic for up-and-coming players. So get out your calendar – and get in the game!

The ladies test themselves in the Netherlands – September 6-9. Juni

At the beginning of June, our national players will travel to the Netherlands, where they will take on powerful club teams from June 6 to 9. These test matches are an important part of the preparation for the European Championship later this summer

Men’s & U21 training weekend – 28 & 29. Juni

On Saturday, June 28, the men will join forces with the talented U21 men’s team in Olten for a day of intensive training. On Sunday June 29, the program continues in Lucerne. Both days will focus on team development, tactics and training intensity – the basis for a successful summer.

The training sessions are open to the public and will be combined with the U14 regional team detection days. Further information will follow shortly.

Double program early July – July 4 to 6

On the first weekend of July, the men’s team will travel to Bra (Italy) for a series of friendly matches against Italy, a formidable opponent that should prepare them as well as possible for the Euro.

At the same time, the ladies will be holding an intensive training camp in Lucerne to make the final adjustments ahead of the tournament in Poland.

Peak weekend in Olten – July 11. to July 13

A must-see: Olten will be the center of Swiss field hockey from July 11 to 13!

The men will play three test matches against Austria, a physically strong opponent where exciting games are guaranteed. At the same time, the ladies are also training in Olten – which means that all the players* from both national teams will be on site!

Hockeyclinic on Sunday. July 13th

🎉So , on Sunday July 13, we’re organizing a hockeyclinic for all the young spectators* who come to Olten to watch and cheer. Accompanied by players from the national team, you’ll experience an unforgettable day of field hockey, full of fun, inspiration and autographs.

Final preparations – July 18 to 25

From July 18 to 20, the men will hold their final training camp in Lucerne, focusing on form, detail and team cohesion. On July 25, the team will travel to Portugal, where they will face Wales, Scotland and Croatia at the European B Championship in Lousada, from July 27 to August 2.

The women’s team will travel to Poland on July 22, where they will play two friendly matches against Poland. On July 27, the European B Championship finally kicks off in Gniezno – a hard-earned and well-deserved participation. In the group stage, the team will face the Czech Republic, Wales and Lithuania
