The past few months have once again shown just how lively and ambitious the Swiss field hockey landscape is. Clubs, players, coaching teams, referees and numerous volunteers have worked hard to ensure that the 2025/26 season could be held at a high organizational and sporting level. The positive development in many age and performance categories is particularly pleasing: Young talents are gaining valuable experience, established teams are setting new standards and the national competition remains attractive and competitive.
With the finals weekends coming up, the focus is now shifting to deciding titles, medals and placings. The final rounds take place at several locations in Switzerland and bring together the best teams in their categories:
- May 30-31, 2026: Final4 U15 Elite at the HCO in Olten
- May 30, 2026: Final tournament in Geneva
- June 6-7, 2026: Final4 NLA women & men at the SHC in Geneva
- June 13-14, 2026: Final4 U18 at RWW in Wettingen
- June 13-14, 2026: Final4 U15 Girls at the HCO in Olten
- June 13-14, 2026: Final4 U12 at the LSC in Lucerne
- June 20-21, 2026: Final4 1st league at the LSC in Lucerne
- June 21, 2026: Final tournament in Wettingen
For the qualified teams, it’s all about confirming their strong season performance and playing their best field hockey at the decisive moment. For spectators, the final days offer an ideal opportunity to experience the fascination of our sport up close: Speed, technique, team spirit and fair play will take center stage. At the same time, the finals weekends are more than just sporting decisions. They are meeting points for the Swiss Hockey family, showcases for our sport and important platforms for the visible development of field hockey in Switzerland
Swiss Hockey would like to take this opportunity to thank all the host clubs, organizers, officials, referee teams, volunteers, parents, partners and fans for their important contribution to this season. Without this broad commitment, the finals and the positive development of our sport would not be possible.
At the same time, we are already looking ahead. The 2026/27 season will open up new opportunities: for the further development of youth development, the strengthening of national competitions, the promotion of referees and the further professionalization of structures in Swiss field hockey. Swiss Hockey will work together with the clubs to consistently continue on the path we have taken and build on the momentum of the current season.
Before that happens, however, full attention will be focused on the final weekends of the 2025/26 season. Swiss Hockey is looking forward to fair, intense and emotional matches and wishes all teams every success, unforgettable moments and a worthy end to the season.
