Two weeks long, from the U12 to the NLA: The indoor season comes to an end in the Final4s.
Swiss Hockey Indoor Championship / Final4 2026

The indoor season barely started in November last year and it already culminated in the Final4s in mid-January. The excitement, joy and pride of having qualified for the Final4s can be seen in every single player. From the U12 to the NLA players.
For two weeks, the best teams in Switzerland compete in indoor field hockey for the title in their respective age category. They are cheered on by their loyal fans: friends, parents, grandparents, club colleagues. And so the hotly contested games turn into a veritable cauldron and rollercoaster of emotions. Every surprising move, every chance is celebrated frenetically by the fans and every goal conceded spurs the crowd on to cheer on their team even more. But pictures say more than 1000 words.
Of course, all the teams were eager to take home the title and the trophy. But the Olympic spirit was particularly evident in the youngest players: just being part of the F4s, being substituted for a few minutes on the field, was enough to see the sparkle of joy in their eyes.
The warmest congratulations to all the teams that took part in the F4s and of course to the indoor Swiss champions 2026!

Ensuring that fans and players can enjoy the spectacle requires a lot of organization and work behind the scenes: providing the infrastructure, food and beverages, technology, planning and running the games, clarifying the rules, organizing and briefing the referees, TD, moderation, communication/PR before/during/after the games, etc. Everything has to run smoothly on the big day.
Swiss Hockey would like to thank all the host clubs, all the referees, and all the volunteers for the “best F4s ever.” Without you and your commitment, the F4s would be unthinkable. Special thanks go to Michael Zeis (Championship Director at Swiss Hockey), who organized and coordinated the F4s centrally, and Fabio Dornbierer for planning the referees’ assignments.
Here, too, the same applies: after the F4s (indoor) is before the F4s (outdoor). Clubs that want to host the F4s (outdoor) should please contact michael.zeis@swisshockey.org.
