Swiss Hockey is looking for talented players with Swiss roots.

Are you an ambitious field hockey player with a Swiss passport? Do you dream of playing at international level? Then this is your chance!

Swiss Hockey, the national field hockey association of Switzerland, is looking for talented players with Swiss citizenship who are active in European (or other international) leagues. We are building something special and are looking for reinforcements for our national teams.

Why Switzerland?

The Swiss men’s and women’s teams are currently playing at the second-highest European level, but are pursuing big goals. In the medium term, we want to establish ourselves permanently at the highest level. And the upswing has already begun:

  • The women’s national team is playing a B European Championship tournament on the pitch this summer for the first time in 13 years. The U21 women’s team has also qualified for a B European Championship tournament in 2026.
  • For the first time in Swiss history, the U21 men’s team has qualified for both a Junior World Championship (Nov/Dec 2025) and an A European Championship in its age category in 2026.
  • Indoors, both our men’s and women’s teams as well as the U21 teams will compete at A level at the European Championships.
  • Our U18 teams both play in the B division, while the two U16 teams play at the highest European level (H5).

What do we offer?

A place in a growing top-class sports program, with individual coaching, international tournaments and the chance to achieve great things together with other Swiss talents.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for motivated and talented players:

  • All genders & age categories: Men, women, boys and girls
  • With a (valid) Swiss passport
  • Active with a (top) club in a strong European or international league
  • Ambitious, willing to learn and committed to their development

Good language skills in German, French and/or English are helpful – Swiss German is a plus 😉
